Located just at the brink of Little Korea is a gem of a place called Soot Bull Jeep. Their own private parking space makes it very convenient to visit the place.Staff are friendly and very accomodating. Food is amazing and good value!DonΓ’β¬β’t miss it

The BBQ was good but the service was lacking. I don't think I'll go back. There are so many other options.

I went to this place 1 week ago before that it was 10 years ago. Place look not much different from 10 years ago price is much higher. Kalbi does taste pretty good but minimum order is least 2. Only reason I give this place 4 star is because of price, day that I went I end up spending $140 for 2 person. Now days there are other near by all you can eat Korean BBQ for lot less than this place.

Ever since I got back from Los Angeles I've been looking for the best sandwiches in the city, and I finally found it. The quantity of food you get at this price is unbeatable. If highly recommend the slider sampler to try their three best sandwiches, and a free sea salt chocolate chip cookie with google check in! Will definitely return with friends.

Get that bincho tan in your life, def pricey though for portion size

Food was delicious however the ventilation system that evening must not have been working. It was terribly Smokey. All of our clothing is ruined. Hoping the dry cleaner will be able to get the smoke smell out.

Very cool experience. Food was great. These places are always a little hard to get the flow down. They cooked at your table here where others I've been to you do the cooking yourself. Really good overall

I had my business in Korea so I know BBQ. The meat was very good, prepared using wood charcoal, the menu could have been more extensive and they did not bring garlic, bean paste or lettuce, but all in all, a good experience! Γ°ΕΈβΕ

Very tasty food , amazing service. As authentic Korean bbq as it gets . A little pricey, but worth it.

Charcoal Korean BBQ. Amazing meat quality, very good service. Authentic and delicious, best BBQ we had! The place is a bit smoky, so don't wear date clothes! Also the charcoal sparkles, be careful with contact lenses.

One of the best NOT All-You-Can-Eat places I've been. The prices may be higher than AYCE, but the quality is definitely worth it. They provide charcoal grill (Soot Bull) for your meat to cook. The portion sizes are also great, and if you have multiple people, each person can choose a meat they want and share it. After eating about one person's worth, I was definitely satisfied, unlike AYCE places where you stuff yourself to the point of feeling sick. The salad that comes with the meat is a perfect combination.

A bit expensive but worth to try

Nice to experience something different. Lovely meat grilled in front of you with an interesting range of vegetable dishes as accompaniments. Friendly service from a close team.

I loved this place and this place used to be much better than now. Disappointed, no wonder it was not crowded on friday night.

This is the OG Korean BBQ in LA! Unfortunately the meats just aren't as good as they used to be. You can get much better meats in other K-town establishments. Service is good (though we went at a slow time) and I still really like that they use real charcoal.

It's a great Korean BBQ place and they are known for the smokiness of the place. Beware! You will stink afterwards so don't wear your nicest clothes and don't plan on going somewhere nice or trendy afters as you will smell. The meats and the banchans (side dishes) are of great quality.

Great Korean bbq spot that has charcoal grills. I really enjoyed the short rib and chicken.

This is famous bbq in K-town since long time ago but I visited recently. Pork rib was the best in town. Absolute wii visit again.

Very authentic Korean BBQ. Marinaded short ribs are a must-try. Little bit on pricey side at $40 / serving of short ribs. Smoke is not well controlled and can make you smelly.

Not sure which part is the Bull and which part is the Jeep but this place is LEGIT. Whats the term the kids are using these days FIREYeah...this place is FIRE.A Korean friend recommend this place to us so we went. The menu seemed a bit small but as a person who BBQs I was really happy to find the quality of meat, the quality of charcoal, very refreshing.Food was beyond on point. Im picky and this place was great! Not picky, just really particular and high standards when it comes to BBQ.Soot Bull Jeep is Legit good, on fire, beyond perfect KBBQ!

Fabulous meat, ban chan, and noodles. Best part is they cook it for you!

One of the best K babeque house in town.

Best Korean BBQ in Los Angeles! This is a charcoal grill BBQ place, it's not all you can eat but it's more than enough food for the price. There's a 2 order minimum, which is probably good enough for a 4 people party with average appetites to be comfortable. The waiter cooks for you so you don't have to worry about overlooking your meat. The wait staff are really nice and helpful. We have had the spare ribs, boneless spare ribs, pork, and the Spencer steak they were all delicious, the meat was soft not chewy. The soups are also spectacular

The service here wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. The spicy pork was not great I have had better many times from a lot of other places. The spare ribs were delicious but the price was not. For both I paid $73 then there was a mandatory tip of $11. Overall not impressed.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The Kalbi is the best quality I have had by far and the staff are super attentative. When I'm craving Korean BBQ, this is my go to place.

Ahh, I used to come here a lot when I was younger, I used to love it but then quality changed and stopped coming. Recently went back and I thought it was good but (of course) not how I used to remember it which was a bit disappointing but waiter was very attentive and helpful. I would go back. It was still good
Richard Nathan
Smoked Korean BBQ. Delicious. We had steak, tongue and ribs. Excellent meal.
Roberto Mojica
Decent side dishes. Chicken was tasty but the baby back ribs were fatty and chewy. I liked they use charcoal. Disliked that we could order an entree only if we ordered two meats to bbq. Good customer Service.
Jan
Authentic KBBQ place! Meat will be flavorful because of the smokiness style of cooking. Be aware that your clothes will definitely smell smoke once you are finished eating here.

Feel pretty lucky to snag seats and parking here immediately on a weekend night as this place was quite busy. As many others have said this place is smoky and you will smell like campfire and cigarettes by the time you are done. Anyway, what really matters is the BBQ and on that front the meat delivered. Main dissapointments were that it didn't seem like much of the charcoal smoke was imparted onto the food and the banchan was sub par. Nice things were that the servers help cook your food and they were generally pretty attentive. Prices felt a bit high for the portion sizes too but not too bad.
Jung Lee
The food quality here is really good and the wood chips used on the fire makes them really shine. One order of meat is almost like 2 person order at some of the other barbecue places in town. Most of the issue is with the lack of attentive table service and the need to keep asking for things. If you care mostly about food quality, this place is fine. However Koreatown has so many barbecue places, if you cannot provide decent attention to your customers you will lose out to the competition. Secondly the interior needs some upgrade as it looks like a restaurant from the 1970's.

This Korean BBQ place has more of a traditional feel to it. Really good ribs and pork but a bit expensive. Definitely worth coming back in the future!
Loriri
Be aware, your wallet will be destroyed. This place quality is amazing, but they are very pricy for the portion. If i cant be filled within 2 orders, then the portion is very small. I don't eat a lot, but when each item cost around $20~30 range, i expect to be filled. This is definitely more suited for meetings or special occasions, but never a casual dining. But oh boy, how i want to go back here. Their short ribs are so good it's actually addicting.

True old school Korean BBQ. Make sure to getThere early with all of your party. Otherwise you wonΓ’β¬β’t get seated. The parking is tough so I take Lyft whenever I go to Korean town. Service was good and the meat quality is not top notch but very flavorful and they use real charcoal instead of gas grillCold soba was so perfect to end the meals .

The quality of meat is very good. Charcoal grill makes everything taste better. The service is excellent. Would highly recommend!

It's delicious and the charcoal fire does add flavor to the meat. But it's not cheap either. A short rib, a squid and a soup added to $100 (with tip) for a table of two.
